What is YOUR dream?

I just finished an amazing book called “The Dream Manager” by Matthew Kelly. It tells the story of a business whose employees lacked engagement. There was massive turnover and lost revenue, because the employees didn’t feel valued or appreciated. Although I have been self-employed for over 14 years now, this book had a major impact on me, my perspective, and my work.

Many of us grew up, got a job, and stopped dreaming. The grind of working every day wears us down. Raising kids zaps our energy. Managing our finances becomes increasingly difficult as we take on more debt. Our dreams get pushed back into some dark corner that we don’t have time to revisit.

We simply go through the motions, and it shows both in our performance at work AND our engagement at home.

Sound familiar?

After reading this book, I’ve realized that I am a Dream Manager--part of my work is to unearth the dreams that people have allowed to die!

One of the very first questions I ask potential clients is: “Where would you like to see your finances in 6 months, 12 months, or 5 years?” Then, I actually push them to create a plan to accomplish those financial goals and dreams.

Think about how you would feel if you accomplished even one item on your list of dreams. Consider how that excitement would translate in your workplace. How would you engage differently with your family if you knew you were accomplishing your goals regularly?

I want to hear your dreams. Just reply to this email and let me know what they are… and if you are ready to take the necessary actions to make them come alive again, let’s set up a time to talk.  It could positively impact your life and those around you.
