This Is A Game Changer!
My Husband, Chris, and I, 2020 Enrichment
Some days it is hard to believe I have been coaching for 15 years! And a lot can change over the years. My hair has gone from brunette to blonde, and now I’m a redhead. In addition to my hair evolution, my financial coaching tools have improved and evolved as well. My goal is to continue to provide the best of the best to my clients. As a way to do this, my husband Chris, and I masked up last week to attend the 2020 Annual Enrichment hosted by Dave Ramsey and the Ramsey Solutions coaching team. This is a conference where top speakers come together to help over 200 coaches (plus more virtually) learn the tools to better serve their clients. Here are a few snapshots of what the weekend consisted of.
One of my biggest topics that I looked forward to was “Leading Your Team with the Enneagram” by Ian Cron. He shared how to connect with our clients better by understanding their Enneagram number and our own. The Enneagram is a system of numbers that are used to describe how different people, based on their personalities, interpret the world. This will definitely help me in situations where my clients need me to understand their perspective or how they are wired. I am so excited to learn more about this. If you have any great reading material, please send me the info. Yes, I even bought the book to read more!
We packed a lot of learning and networking in just 3 days but it was entirely worth every minute. But we didn’t just sit around and take notes. Dave Ramsey’s team knows how to party! One evening we ate at food trucks and enjoyed a local band right outside of Ramsey Solutions Headquarters. It was so much fun to enjoy the weather, listen to the music, and of course bust a couple of moves. Yes this girl can move! ;)
Chris Hogan and I, 2020 Enrichment
My favorite quote from this weekend that resonated so close to me was something Chris Hogan said. “If you aren’t your best self then you can’t give your best help.” Let me say that again, If you aren’t your BEST SELF you can’t give your BEST HELP.” This was a game changer for me! How many times do we think if I could just work around a little more I would better serve my clients or even my family. This actually happened to me when quarantine started. I felt like I needed to be present for my clients, but in reality I was more physically and emotionally exhausted than I ever have been. I was not on my A game for anyone! Sometimes, just as Chris Hogan said, we need to make sure we are taken of first not just for us but for others too. There is a reason why the flight attendants ask you to put your oxygen mask on first before helping others in the event of an airplane emergency.
How are you becoming your best self? Is it physically, emotionally, financially? As we continue our long journey through 2020, we need to finish this last 90 days strong! Yup that’s right we have 91 days left of this year. Don’t wait until January to decide to get financially fit. Who says we can only create resolutions on January 1st? It’s time for you to be able to take the sigh of relief not the sigh of worry. If you are ready to make a change call, email, schedule, or shoot, even write me a letter. I am here to help you make the best of your 2020!
