Take 2021 To The Next Level
Happy New Year!!
Are you as excited to see this new year as I am? 2020 presented so many challenges for people across the world and the truth is that we really aren’t out of the woods yet. I don’t have to list all of the things we faced but, I want to encourage you in one very simple thing… it can only go up from here!
The main thing that brings me hope is that if last year was so terrible then this year has got to be better. And we are in the driver’s seat of our own destiny, right? Sure, you may not be able to gather safely just yet but there is so much in your own life that you do have control over.
Goals are a great way to look forward, aspire for more, and get into action so it happens. Goals make your dreams concrete. Goals give you purpose and create excitement. You don’t need a million goal to reach for, you just need a few that motivate you and make you feel like you have to do something.
Maybe your goal is to get out of debt. Maybe your goal is to get a new job or create a new business. Maybe you simply want a vacation… that’s me! ?? Without some concrete steps in front of the other you won’t go anywhere.
The questions I often ask people who are looking to achieve a goal include:

Who do you want to be in 12 months?

What behaviors need to change for you to get there?

Are there obstacles you need to move so the path is clear?

Why is this goal so important and what is at stake if you miss the mark?
Consider these questions for yourself. As you begin this new year slow down just enough to learn from the last 12 months, create the next 12 months you desire, and become the person who crushes their goals with time to spare!
